Wrestling, baseball with softboly and karate will be offered for inclusion in the program of Olympic Games of 2020

In St. Petersburg the International convention of SportAccord continues work. Today, on May 29, I started International Olympic Committee (IOC) executive committee. Presentations of the sports applying for inclusion in the program of summer Olympic Games of 2020 began. Special correspondents of Agency of sports information "All sports" Maria Vorobyov, Vladimir Ivanov and Andrey Mitkov, having communicated on SportAccord in about tens members the IOC, presidents of the international sports federations and simply influential officials, learned, what sports executive committee the IOC recommends for inclusion in the Olympic Games-2020 program.

Eight sports apply for inclusion in the program of Olympic Games of 2020: baseball with softboly, karate, roller sports, sports rock-climbing, squash, a veykbording, wrestling and ushu (are called as representation of presentations). The All Sports agency knew that the executive committee the IOC will offer the 125th session the IOC which will take place in September in Buenos Aires (Argentina), to make a choice of three sports. And these three sports become – wrestling (on a photo), baseball with softboly and karate. Officially the executive committee decision the IOC will be declared tomorrow, on May 30.
