Ceremony of assignment of a name of the deserved trainer of the USSR on Greco-Roman wrestling, the locomotive will take place honourable railroader Ivan Kalyuzhny on May 22 at Omsk-passenger station.

The electric locomotive 2ES6 of "Sinara" – the most modern and powerful locomotive – at employees of Omsk depot associates with Ivan Kalyuzhny's who has died on the 72nd year of life in January of this year identity.

As told in the West Siberian Railway (WSR) press service – RZhD branch of JSC, the family of Ivan Kalyuzhny, the deputy chief of ZSZhD are invited to a festive event in honor of opening of a memorial plate and name assignment to the Sinara No. 200 locomotive 2ES6 on Omsk territorial administration Evgeny Shapulenko, the president of Federation of wrestling of the Omsk region Yury Krikukh, representatives of department for youth, physical culture and sport of administration of Omsk.

Ceremony will begin on May 22 at 11:30 at Omsk-passenger station.

Ivan Ivanovich Kalyuzhny – the honourable railroader, the deserved trainer of the USSR (1991), RSFSR (1987) on Greco-Roman wrestling. Among his pupils two world champion and Europe, five silver prize-winners of superiority of the world, winners of the championships of the USSR, Russia and international competitions. Kalyuzhny worked about 40 years the trainer-teacher in Omsk regional council of DSO "Locomotive" (1963-2001), brought up not one generation of athletes of railroad workers, including employees of Omsk locomotive depot. Ivan Kalyuzhny on the 72nd year of life after a short illness died on January 12, 2013.

For assignment of a name of Kalyuzhny the electric locomotive 2ES6 of "Sinara" not casually was chosen.

"This electric locomotive in our depot the most modern, an electric locomotive of the last generation – very powerful, reliable, is created specially for work in the Siberian conditions, with our difficult climate, dynamic. It at us associates with Ivan Ivanovich Kalyuzhny's identity", – the press secretary of ZSZhD – RZhD branch of JSC Svetlana Zanosova explained.

Let's add that assignment of a name of the coach on Greco-Roman wrestling to the locomotive takes place in a framework of the world action on fight preservation as Olympic sport which the executive committee of the international Olympic committee suggested to exclude from the Olympic program.
