Shkaran Vladimir Vasilyevich was born on March 28, 1937 in the village Small Tokmachka of the Orekhovsky region of the Zaporozhye area. In Greco-Roman wrestling started being engaged in 1957 during service in the ranks of the Soviet Army in Lviv at the deserved trainer of the USSR Pavel Vasilyevich Kozin.
The same year, as perspective wrestler, him turned on in a national team of Ukraine, then still, on Greco-Roman wrestling. For 2,5 years passed a way from the beginner to the master of sports of the USSR.

After demobilization from army in 1961 it was invited by the deserved trainer of the USSR Klyakhin Edward Anatolyevich in Zaporozhye "Dynamo". For years of stay in Zaporozhye "Dynamo" the following results were reached: seven years was the member of a national team of the USSR in heavy weight, became twice the prize-winner of the USSR, the prize-winner of command superiority of the USSR, the winner and the prize-winner of the most prestigious international tournaments in Budapest and Prague, the champion and the prize-winner of Ukraine, the ninefold champion of Central office of DSO "Dynamo".




In 1971 the rank "The master of sports of the USSR of the international class", and also in 1970 "The master of sports of the USSR on sambo wrestling" was appropriated. Higher education. I graduated from the Kiev State institute of physical culture.
After the end of sports career worked in system of the MVD of Ukraine in educational division on teaching and a senior position in Zaporozhye. Now pensioner of the MVD.
Author of the verses, more than 40 songs, performer of author's songs. For 2008 - 2011, I published two collections of the works.
