In Karachay-Cherkessia at stadium of "Sledge" there took place a mass action "Karachay-Cherkessia for preservation of the Olympic wrestling! ". This event became final: since March 25 similar actions took place in the cities and the regions of Karachay-Cherkessia. The sports public and the authorities of Karachay-Cherkessia, thus, expressed the civic stand, concerning the recommendation of the International Olympic committee to exclude wrestling from the Games-2020 program.

This news stirred up the whole world. And first of all Russia, after all in the Caucasian republics the manumission and Greco-Roman wrestling - cult sports. Participants of the action spoke about it also.

"This unfair decision can negatively affect manumission and Greco-Roman wrestling development around the world. Because children who are engaged today in these types and sports, can leave it. And after all all of us perfectly with you understand, it is how important to take away the child from the street, to find for him class in spirit. For an example I will give figures: today in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic 2 300 athletes, and Greco-Roman - five hundred seventy four are engaged in free-style wrestling. These are two thousand eight hundred seventy four Olympic hopes! ", - the minister of physical culture and sport of the republic Rasoul Chotchayev noted.

His colleagues, Ismail Bidzhev and Nurbi Chukov called idea the IOC rash and short-sighted. And Alexey Shutov cited as an example the Urupsky area where only this year opened three sections on wrestling.

"We didn't expect that wrestling will be so demanded in the Urupsky area. The number of engaged children is higher, than we could assume. And how it is possible to select the Olympic dream at these children? ! ? ", - the head of the Urupsky municipal area Alexey Shutov told.

Known wrestlers Nauruz Temrezov, Renat Akbayev, Aznaur Adzhiyev, Ali Aybazov and young athletes Azamatbi Pshnatlov, Amar Mamkhyagov much know about hope of the Olympic victory. They expressed confidence that the similar protest actions which have passed around the world, will be heard in the IOC and will change as a whole the relation to wrestling.

As reported in the ministry of physical culture and sport of KChR, in support of an action to all present suggested to deliver the signature under the protest document. It was gathered more than one thousand supporters of wrestling. Then the Resolution which all with materials on the stock will send to the Russian Olympic Committee was adopted.
