One of veterans of Greco-Roman wrestling, the organizer of the first tournament Vasily Kovalev, noted remarkable conditions for present athletes. 40 years ago the number of participants was less, but many became subsequently known not only in sports.

Vasily Kovalev, organizer of tournament: "Among those athletes there were people who guided then in the rustle country. For example, three - well and I consider that quadruple, Olympic champion Aleksandr Karelin".

All winners and prize-winners gained diplomas, medals and cups. Marked out also trainers of champions. Athletes of the Kemerovo region on tournament won a large number of medals. 8 wrestlers became champions in the age and weight categories, 2 more earned silver, and 19 young kuzbassovets became bronze prize-winners.
