One silver from Tehran

The national team of Georgia on Greco-Roman wrestling won the only medal on the international tournament which has passed on January 23-24 in Tehran - the Cup of the Imam Yadegar.

Team of Begi Darchiya left on a carpet as a part of 11 athletes and from them Marad Abuladze who in weight category to 66 kg took the second place showed the best result.
On a way to Abuladze's final won against Iraqi Mohammed Karim Mohammed (8-0), the North Korean Van Rhee Haggui (2:1 6:3) and Japanese Hiayeuki Otoidzumi (8-0), and for gold conceded in fight to Azerbaijanian Azad Aliyev (0:7 0:4). Aliyev at the initial stage beat one more member of the national team of Georgia Georgy Davitaya (0:0 6:0).
Irakli Kadzhaya (98 kg) didn't have one step to a pedestal. He lost in the first circle to Iranian Ali Aliarifeyzabad (1:3 0:1). At a consolatory stage it overcame Armenian Movses Adamyan (1:0 3:0), however then could do nothing against other Iranian - Davoda Abedinzadechdorchi (0:8) and was content with the fifth place. In the same weight Mikhail Kadzhaya and Arsen Kakhabrishvili acted. Lot reduced them in the first circle. Fight came to the end 2:2 and in a quarterfinal there was Kadzhaya, however there lost Abedinzadechdorchi (0:2 0:2).
Ushangi Halvasha (98 kg) and Sergo Gogisvanidze (130 kg) finished performance in the main grid, having lost to future champions. They lost both at a consolatory stage and as a result of Halvasha took the 6th place, and Gogisvanidze - the 7th.
Kemal Harabadze, Ramaz Surmanidze (both 59 kg), Ushangi Chitiashvili (75 kg) and Shota Gogisvanidze (130 kg) send on the Teheran carpet only one time.
In an all-team competition combined Georgia gathered 29 points and took the 5th place among 10 national teams. Iran which was presented on tournament by 57 wrestlers became the champion, certainly.
