In Tashkent took place the first international tournament on prizes of the Honoured Master of Sports and the honored trainer of RUZ Fatkullin Kamil Makhmudovich.

Considering that fact that the age category of participants presented here, was Olympic, tournament it is safely possible рассмаривать, as an important stage of preparation for qualification start of the main games of the fourth anniversary among young men which will pass in Bangkok (Thailand) in May. We will remind that the II Summer junior Olympic Games will take place in Nanjing (China) in August.

At the opening ceremony besides officials from various ministries and departments, there were also veterans of sports – Hamid Vakhidov, Rishat Nabiullin, Agzam Mirzayev and Ibad Rakhmanov, each of which expressed parting word words to young wrestlers and held up as an example the personality in honor of which tournament was organized.

Besides a trainer's staff of our youthful team, the course of duels was watched tremblingly by Kamil Fatkullin who shared the opinion on competitions:

"I want to express huge gratitude to the friends, trainers, sponsors, and also the management of the Municipal Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent for so professional organization of tournament. Competitions of such rank are necessary for this age group when children only are formed as wrestlers and get the first international experience. It is necessary to lay the foundation since they have to experience the similar atmosphere that leaving on the World Cups and Asia, there was already any experience. At the same time, for them it is a peculiar holiday of sports.

We didn't spend certain time here youthful competitions of such high level.   We always had a good school, there were champions therefore it is impossible to stop on the reached.   It would be healthy if in the future this tournament was included in FILA calendar.   In this regard, the number of the participating countries would increase.

Summing up the results, I will tell that attentively I observed all wrestlers. It is possible to be sure that at us fine change grows. The special impression on me was made by winners in categories 42, 46, 50 and 63 of kg respectively", - the former wrestler noted.

Remembering Kamil Fatkullin's merits, it is necessary to mention his most considerable achievements on the international scene. We will remind that one of the most outstanding wrestlers in the chronicle of the Uzbek sports is the triple silver prize-winner of the World Cups-1977, 1979 and 1983, and also the champion of Europe-1984. During its stay on a post of the head coach of the national team of Uzbekistan on Greco-Roman wrestling, Dilshod Aripov won the World Cup in the 2001st year, and Alexander Dokturishvili became the owner of a gold medal at the Olympic Games-2004. Also it is not all track record of his sports and trainer's career. Now Fatkullin is the senior trainer at Specialized school of the Olympic reserve on wrestling, and also helps mentors of national teams of the country to train young children for responsible starts.

Also guests, among them - the judge of competitions from Kazakhstan Sayfulla Samuratov shared impressions of visit to Tashkent: "The Uzbek school of wrestling well proved not only on the Asian continent, but also around the world. You always had wrestlers of world level. Holding this tournament, your management once again proves that wants to keep traditions further, after all on similar starts there are new stars. We will surely return here next time".
