In 2011 after an one-and-a-half-year break Sergey returned to fights and on the M-1 Selection 2011 Europe tournament sent to a technical knockout of the Spanish fighter Antonio Gonzalez after that it took part in the M-1 Global Fedor vs Monson tournament and in the hardest 3-raundovy fight conceded according to the decision of judges to Salim Davidov. In May, 2012 Sergey fought on the Legionfight 11 tournament and in only 38 seconds sent to a knockout of Australian Fergyus Balfora.
