The Russian fighter of the mixed single combats Mahomed Malikov, which contract with M-1 of Global ended in November of last year, can be shortly signed in UFC.
This information in telephone conversation with the correspondent of RIA "Dagestan" was confirmed by the athlete who is at present in Moscow.
"All my documents already are under consideration in UFC. In negotiations the promoter of our many known fighters, the general producer of Fight Nights Kamil Gadzhiyev mediates. We wait for the answer. I want to try UFC", – Malikov reported.
Thus the athlete added that his signing in UFC could take place earlier. "If the Ukrainian heavyweight Alexey Oleynik debuted on January 25 in UFC, unambiguously officials of UFC had to sign and me. But its duel didn't take place because of traumatized by it", – the fighter noted.
Mahomed Malikov also told that at present directs Krepost club in Moscow.
"Suggested to become the director of Krepost sports club in Moscow to me in January of last year. The task to develop this club is set for me. At us many perspective children train. Quite recently in UFC the fighter of our club, Chechen Zubayra Tukhugov" was signed, – Malikov told.
It also informed that some fighters of its club can join UFC ranks. Among them native of Dagestan, former fighter of Bellator Murad Machayev, and also one of the strongest fighters in Russia in semi-lightweight Oleg Borisov. Documents of fighters, according to Malikov, also are under consideration in UFC.
The athlete also disproved numerous hearings about fast fights with the fighters won once – Russian Alexander Emelyanenko and American Jeff Monson.
"Alexander Emelyanenko isn't interesting to me neither as the athlete, nor as the person. Battle with it to me will give nothing. Concerning Jeff Monson, personally with the offer to carry out one more fight nobody contacted me", – Malikov explained.
