58-year-old малгобекчанин Maksharip Evloyev strenuously trains before the forthcoming championship of Russia which has to take place in July in Elista. Our correspondent the other day met the master of free-style wrestling and learned in detail about the tournament which has passed in Kaliningrad, about plans of the athlete for the future.

- Maksharip, the last tournament in which you took part, had the status of the international. You and Hazh-Oumar Arapiyev once again pleased inhabitants of the republic. It isn't simple to win such tournament. Tell about these competitions in more detail.

- First of all, I want to note that on the eve of departure to Kaliningrad we were assisted by the Ministry of sports of RI. Besides, I as the inhabitant of Malgobeka, received the help from a city administration. Thanks to the minister of sports of RI Ahmed Kotiyev, the acting as the head of city administration of Malgobek Ahmed Dodova the issue with journey on tournament was resolved. For it to them many thanks. I passed tournament under the motto "Let's Keep the Olympic Wrestling".

- By the way, whether the initiative of an exception of wrestling from the program of Olympic Games was affected by organizers and participants of tournament? This question is now very actual for all sports public.

- This subject wasn't simply touched, and was defining, main on tournament. I even incline to thought that all this tournament was conceived as a large-scale action against this initiative proceeding from a subsoil of the international Olympic committee. I was struck personally by number of athletes from the countries of the Central and Eastern Europe.

The idea of an exception of wrestling from the Olympic program — is blow to those countries where wrestling is popular where this sport is the main incentive of a healthy lifestyle, incentive of advance to sports heights.

- How there was a tournament for you personally? It is possible to tell, what the victory got expensive price?

- The victory in sports, especially in free-style wrestling, always gets not simply. On a carpet the rival never does gifts if it is so possible to tell. Wrestling is an extreme tension of forces, will of the athlete. Taking an opportunity, I want from myself and Hazh-Oumar Arapiyev to express huge gratitude to all our fellow countrymen in Kaliningrad. They supported us so, it was simply impossible what to lose.

- Tell about the plans for the future. In what competitions you intend to take part in the current year?

- In July in Elista has to pass the traditional championship of Russia. Here both of us are Hazh-Oumar Arapiyev and I – we hope to win a victory. Further – already the World Cup among master veterans which will take place in Slovakia in September. Considering this intense schedule, we strenuously train to approach to the championship of Russia at form peak. Veterans from Dagestan are traditionally strong, rivals from the Chechen Republic aren't less difficult. Here, as they say, it is necessary to lay out for all 100%.
