On January 16 the Berkut fight club was visited by one of the most known world fighters of the mixed style, the Chechen fighters acting in the Polish combative League of "KSW", owners of champion belts, Mamed Halidov and Aslambek Saidov. Mamed Halidov as the most skilled athlete carried out training with fighters of "Berkut".

The champion KSW focused attention of athletes on work in parterre. It showed the most interesting positions in fight, carrying out receptions, and also showed as it is necessary to leave correctly difficult situations in fight. Despite traumatized, Aslambek Saidov who also shared the experience was connected to occupations also.

Between small breaks we managed to communicate to Mamed Halidov.

Mamed, welcome to "Berkut", we are very glad you to see. When you arrived in home?

- Thanks, I too am glad to appear at home and to see our athletes. I arrived recently, a week ago. I will stay here still some time.

- You carried out today training with fighters of "Berkut". I even would call it a seminar. How to you conditions in club what you will tell about athletes?

- Seminar it is loudly told. We simply carried out good training. I showed something to children, something they to me (laughs). As for conditions in club “Berkut”, here all at level, I have no such conditions even in Poland. Here very good hall.

- Mamed, today you worked with fighters of "Berkut" in parterre, there took place very interesting training. There are some opinions into the account of that fighters of MMA improve "parterre" in a kimono, others without. In some known American halls work in a kimono. What from this more suits the fighter of the mixed style?

- Yes, someone dresses, someone isn't present. For BZhZh it is obligatory attribute. I, for example, train without kimono as I act in the mixed single combats and my grappling is focused on MMA. But some fighters of the mixed style are engaged in a kimono, probably, in it too there is a sense. At me for some reason any phobia on a kimono (laughs).

- And whether there are chances, in your opinion, at the pure drummer in modern MMA which considers, what to it skills of fight in parterre to anything?

- No, certainly. As though you well weren't protected from passes and teyk-daunov, also masters of parterre well work with drummers today also. Therefore chances very small. Passed that time when pure boxers, kickboxers or on the contrary "wrestlers" came to MMA. Now it is necessary to improve the skill in all directions: it is BZhZh, sambo, free-style wrestling, a kickboxing, Thai boxing and to the athlete it is necessary to be ready to all circumstances, both in a rack, and in parterre. Now beginning fighters of MMA come to clubs on the mixed single combats and master there everything fighting technicians. And only the versatile person is capable to win modern MMA.

- Mamed, urgent problem. How you look at the performance in the largest and known MMA-promotion of World UFC? Your fans want you to see on this arena in opposition against Chris Weidman, Andersen Silva, Vitor Belfort, Yushin Okami. Would like to try with them forces? I heard you already contacted agents of UFC …

- I many times told it and once again I will repeat: UFC – not space. It was proved now by our fighters from Dagestan and the Chechen Republic who there act. Yes, there in each weight category there are on 3-4 strongest fighters, but all other same ordinary guys, athletes as well as many in Europe and Russia. Certainly, I have an interest to try in this League. But there are some nuances. I won't dissemble, all hitch in a financial question. They are made me the proposal about two years ago. But we didn't find a common language. I at all don't understand their approach to some things. After all it is business and for us as for professionals it is work and there has to be a certain approach to each fighter. As professionals we give battles, we win, we show spectacular fights. We not meat that whom - to give us where we each other will break off. And their offers and a condition, first of all, are unpleasant for us. As for the listed fighters of UFC, it is good fighters and duels with them are interesting to me. By the way, with Okami I slightly was I didn't fight. Before my last fight there were offers to meet Okami after it left UFC. But our KSW organization carries out fights in a ring, and Okami fights in a cage and it disagreed. As a result I fought with Ryuta Sakurai.

- And as if there is a need, format change will affect you: ring on a cage?

- In our club fighters who fight in cages and in rings train and act. And I together with them prepare both under a ring and under the oktagon. Here it should be noted that the difference between a ring and octagons, of course, exists. And a difference that in a work cage is more. But we always work over it. So, for me it doesn't play a big role.

- Mamed, you are the titled fighter, the successful professional. Whether you see a limit of the progress? Whether there was with you a treasured title which you would like to win?

- Treasured title? Well sounds (laughs). I always adhere to that is at present. And Praise Supreme for it. If the moment comes when it will be necessary to make something and there will be an opportunity – I will try to make it. Whether it be any new the hyper - League or strong fighters, certainly I will try, I will try. All this depends from Supreme. And like mad to reach something, I while have no such aspirations.

- What fighters from Russia you would mark out as the most perspective?

- We have many good fighters. But, first of all, it is unconditional, Adlan Amagov, Mayrbek Taysumov, Beslan Isayev. I watch all the time Beslan. I know that it is capable of the bigger. Also in Russia there are very good fighters from Dagestan, there is in Russia such fighter as Shlemenko, by the way, my very good friend and many other strong fighter. Long to list all.

- What you would exhort for our beginning professionals from "Berkut"? On what they first of all should focus the attention?

- They could advise me what to do (laughs). Here very good and strong fighters who can give odds gathered. Our children are very well developed. In each party. Both boxing, and fight, and parterre. To us, certainly, not to occupy character. It is the strongest and bright party of the Chechen fighters. With physics too all an order, I would tell even very well. And so, it is necessary to pay more attention to equipment. I.e. equipment to work in parterre. I would advise it to younger fighters. Force not always everything turns out therefore sometimes it is useful to reduce turns and to work for equipment more. But it everything will come. I think in the nearest future.

- Mamed, starts the new combative tournament "Absolute Championship Berkut" soon. In two months the Grand Prix of this project where young and perspective fighters, and also more skilled, known fighter from Russia, the World will act is planned. What you will tell about ideas of creation of this project?

- It is very good project which will promote development of sports, MMA as a type of single combats and, in general, as healthy lifestyle promotion the project very necessary and timely for Russia. Also I think this League will take a worthy place in the World. It is excellent idea!

- You will watch?

- I watch all events which occur in Russia, in particular in the Caucasus and the Chechen Republic. I watch each our fighter and I rejoice to their progress in sports career.
