In Krasnoyarsk Krai and at neighbors is observed surge in interest to sports wrestling

So the Honoured Master of Sports, the senior free-style wrestling coach of the national team of Krasnoyarsk Krai Zaur Batayev with whom has a talk considers the correspondent of wrestdag.ru .

— In social networks the training video in wrestling Academy of D. Mindiashvili was uploaded. The picture impresses! In a hall with six carpets there was free no square meter. From where there is so much to people?

— Now in our academy pass collecting on preparation for the yaryginsky Grand Prix. Together with Krasnoyarsk athletes wrestlers prepare for tournament from nearby regions of Russia, and also from Mongolia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan. Because of big flow wishing to participate in collecting it was necessary to enter two changes, in each of which  wrestlers of four weight categories train. But I will tell you that at us approximately the same picture happens all the year round. To us come to be improved in skill  wrestlers from Buryatia, Khakassia, Tyva, Yakutia and other subjects of Siberia and the Far East, and also athletes from foreign countries. We are open for all, and to us is, than to share with others, after all the Krasnoyarsk school of wrestling has rich traditions, we have an excellent trainer's structure led by Dmitry Georgiyevich Mindiashvili, fine conditions for training process. Not incidentally, last year of our academy the status of the Euroasian cent of FILA is given. Presence of visitors of  wrestlers, joint trainings help to grow and to local children. Fortunately, despite the competition from other sports, at Krasnoyarsk youth steady interest to wrestling remains. Daily in a hall of academy 300-400 children are engaged. Schools of wrestling for children and young people function in 46 territories of the region. That is with good reason it is possible to say that the hobby for wrestling in the region has mass character.

— It is surprising, especially against many other regions where interest to wrestling falls.

— So after all it is impossible to sit, idly. At all our rich traditions, thus, that supports us the leadership of Krasnoyarsk Krai and the city of Krasnoyarsk, we try to do something to popularize our sport, to entice children in section. We go to the remote place, we carry out master classes and seminars, we communicate with the press. Here literally the other day me invited to the telecast "Morning of Yenisei" to tell about the forthcoming yaryginsky Grand Prix, and I willingly used this reason for drawing attention to wrestling. In particular, I told about the occurred changes in our single combat, and than they are caused. By the way, all this history with an exception of wrestling of the Olympic program, and then its return, eventually turned back positive consequences.

— By the way, Krasnoyarsk wrestlers made a speech at this tournament not so successfully, predictably …

— So after all almost all our leading  wrestlers didn't act on it. Ahead they have more responsible start, and they preferred to prepare for it in a training mode. But successfully  wrestlers from other regions to which preparation we too are related acted. So, in three weight categories representatives of Buryatia became winners. We have a cooperation agreement with the head of sports department of this republic Vladislav Bumboshkin. Buryats often come to us, invite us to itself. I went to them twice, the last time — in November of last year participated in educational and training collecting. Collecting took place in the settlement famous for the surrounding picturesque nature Arshan, entering the Tunkinsky area which is headed by the big fan of wrestling Andrey Samarinov. In many respects thanks to this person in Arshana excellent conditions for preparation of the national team of Buryatia are created. In the same place, by the way, last year Russian women's national team which after that went to the World Cup to Japan prepared and successfully made a speech at these competitions, having taken the second place.

In one of days of collecting we with colleagues from a trainer's staff of the national team of Buryatia went to Tunk's neighboring settlement. There gave a master class for which more than 80 children gathered. Held also a seminar for two tens children's trainers during which made them methodical recommendations about training of young  wrestlers, having affected all aspects of this work up to food and weight loss, supplied them with the corresponding brochures. Has to tell that in Buryatia thoroughly approach to wrestling development, and at such approach, I think, soon it is necessary to expect growth of results of representatives of this republic. From it all Russian wrestling will win, after all existence of strong and different wrestling schools promotes mutual enrichment, the competition and eventually — to progress. As a peculiar model of this situation the Krasnoyarsk school at which, cooking in the general copper can serve, representatives of different nationalities and different schools grow up in strong athletes. It is enough to give Buvaysar and Adam Saytiyevykh's example who, having arrived here from Dagestan, fully could realize the talent and became outstanding athletes. In due time they glorified Krasnoyarsk school of wrestling, and now willingly help it. When brothers happen in Krasnoyarsk, they appear on trainings, impart the experience and knowledge with young wrestlers, and Buvaysar, being the vice-president of academy also participates in the organization of its activity.

— You too after brothers Saytiyev got over from Dagestan to Krasnoyarsk. Whether them the example pushed you to this step?

— For many  wrestlers from the North Caucasian region the way passed by Buvaysar and Adam, became an example, and I not an exception. I started being engaged in wrestling in native Khasavyurt, and powerful results achieved, already being here. The noticeable role in my career was played also by the president of CSKA Andrey Siletsky who supported me during the difficult period. It is difficult to overestimate a contribution of this person to progress of the Russian wrestlers. More than 15 years ago it founded wrestling CSKA which is basic club for national team. For any  wrestler for honor to wear CSKA uniform, it and a guarantee that your work and results won't remain unaddressed. It is possible to call tens surnames who felt on itself(himself) care and Andrey Siletsky's support. It almost all outstanding Russian wrestlers of the last years. Nevertheless I will mention one — tragicly lost Besik Kudukhov. All wrestling world was shaken by his death. We lost giving-out athlete, the beautiful and kind person. Unfortunately, the end of last year was saddened also by other losses. The vice-president of Federation of wrestling of Russia, my good friend Musa Dzhabrailov died, there was no one of coryphaeuses of the trainer's case of the country Alexander Popov. Taking an opportunity, on behalf of wrestling community of Krasnoyarsk Krai would like to express condolences to the family of these light people who have left us.

— What do you wait from the forthcoming Grand Prix "Ivan Yarygin"?

— It will pass by the changed rules and in new weight categories, and in this regard tournament causes a great interest in experts and fans of wrestling. I wait for spectacular duels, uncompromising rivalry, emergence of new names. And, of course, it would be desirable that on this holiday of wrestling, the powerful word was told by Krasnoyarsk wrestlers.
