The bowl of fire of XXII Winter Olympic games of 2014 is lit in Karachay-Cherkessia. The run last piece of relay the Honoured Master of Sports of Russia, the triple world champion in wrestling on belts, the winner of summer University games in Kazan Alibek Hapayev lit fire together with the head of the republic Rasheed Temrezov.

"Very important day for all of us to which we long went. Today all country prepares for the Olympic Games and worries about our athletes. Let's support them and we! Russia, forward! " - Rasheed Temrezov told.

The ceremony proceeded the festive program of performances of creative collectives of the republic. Presence of symbols of the XXII Olympic Games - a leopard, a bear and the hare established at stadium became the spectacular moment. Many participants of a holiday are photographed with huge inflatable figures of animals.

Despite frosty day, a holiday it was successful. "All over 10 thousand people took part in action", - specified in the republican Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to organizers, the 113th day of relay was very saturated. "The symbol of Games visited Makhachkala, Cherkessk, and today goes to Grozny", - told in the organizing committee.
