Past Sunday, February 24, in Yartsev passed competitions on the judo which dated for celebration of Day of the defender of the Fatherland and have become good tradition of the city.
Founders of competitions – trainer's structure of office of local child junior sports school: Maxim Goryunov, Vladimir Gruznov and Igor Sidorov. From year to year the sports event collects teams from Russia and neighboring countries. This time on a visit to yartsevsky judoists there arrived teams from Mozhaisk, Obninsk, Bryansk, Smolensk, Desnogorsk, Demidov, the settlement Verkhnedneprovsky, Safonova; for trophies Belarusian brothers from Minsk, Vitebsk, Orsha, Molodechn also fought. In total part was taken by more than 220 athletes.
Competitions held in two age groups. Among athletes of 2001 year of birth prizes took – brothers Davtyan, Artavazd (1 place) and Avetik (the 2nd place), Daniel Kozlov (the 3rd place). The strongest yartsevsky judoists in age group 2002-2003 became Stepan Kozlov, Alexander Lubetskov and Dmitry Tsvetkov (all three took on "gold"), Yaver Mushtagov and Dmitry Kuznetsov Dmitry (in their asset silver medals). Three more young – Dmitry Sapronov, Nikita Koltsov and Ilya Udalov – took the third places. Girls made separate group. Among pupils of yartsevsky school of judo caused a stir Paulina Kuznetsova and Alice Sidorov, won on "bronze". All-command results an are as follows: first place – Mozhaisk, the second – Yartsevo, the third – Orsha.
