The sculpture of "Judo" of the Vladimir sculptor Ilya Shanin is presented at an exhibition in Kazan.
Yesterday in the Kazan Gallery of the modern art (branch of the State museum of the fine arts of the Republic of Tatarstan) the first large-scale All-Russian exhibition devoted to the World University games in Kazan and winter Olympic Games in Sochi, "About sports, you – the world opened! ". Painters, sculptors, schedules and artists of arts and crafts from Astrakhan, Vladimir, Voronezh, Ivanovo, Ishimbay, Kazan, Kaluga, Kostroma, Kursk, Omsk, Penza, Moscow and the Moscow region, Nizhnevartovsk, Rostov-on-Don, Ryazan and Yaroslavl took part in it.
The exhibition is one of stages of implementation of the big creative project of the Union of artists of Russia, 2013 devoted to the World University games in Kazan and the Winter Olympic Games of 2014 in Sochi which is carried out in the commonwealth with museums of Russia. Carrying out an exhibition was preceded by preparatory creative actions of the Union of artists of Russia, directed on drawing attention of artists to sports subject and on creation in this direction of works of high art level (carrying out разли chny level and the directions of symposiums on glass, textiles, ceramics, painting and a sculpture).
Pierre de Coubertin's well-known phrase "About sports, you – the world became the slogan of the Olympic movement! ", which contains an appeal to a unification of all mankind. The internal and external esthetics, force of tension and emotional return, pleasure of experience of "creativity torments" and result make related it with art.
The Vladimir creators provided the works on an exhibition. Visitors, in particular, will be able to see works of known Vladimir sculptors Igor Chernoglazov and Ilya Shanin. On court of the Kazan audience the second copy of a sculpture of "Judo" of Shanin will be submitted. The first copy, according to some information, was presented to the president of Russia Vladimir Putin last year on the 60 anniversary.
