Judo in Borisov

In the past weekend open superiority of the city of Borisov among young judoists on April 13-14 took place, whose age doesn't exceed 13 years.

It already the second competitions in an open format which took place from the moment of opening of a hall of judo in this city. 187 young judoists took part in competitions representing teams of the cities of the Minsk region and the city of Minsk.

Competition wasn't ignored by representatives of the city authorities and the Belarusian federation of judo. Being present at competitions the head of department of FKIS of the borisovsky Executive Committee of the City Soviet of People's Deputies Skvorchevsky B.H. and the executive director of BFD Martynovich V. N. noted that fact that the management of borisovsky school and young trainer's structure managed to create during this time about itself positive image and to enclose the contribution in judo promoting in the city.

Coming back to sources of opening of office in Borisovsky DYuSSh №1 it is possible to tell with confidence that efforts of BFD on judo development in this city weren't in vain. Principal Zanimonets N. A. I expressed gratitude of BFD for that help which was rendered to its school. Besides a tatami and necessary stock at the expense of BFD in a hall where young judoists are engaged, new modern windows were established that in no small measure affected desire of parents to bring the children into this sport.

The judo section in Borisov works rather small term since September, 2011.

As everything began;

Today the office of judo is completed by young trainers. Popularity of judo grows in Borisov. At present lists of school total 130 pupils, and staff is completed by two regular trainers and two part-time workers. The available hall isn't able to contain all wishing to be engaged in Japanese single combat. I ripened need of opening of one more hall. City authorities found the room for these purposes, but there is sharply a problem with equipment of this room for occupations by judo wresting.

Representatives of the sports organizations of Borisov applied to the Belarusian federation of judo, that in their city would hold competitions of republican level that has to cause still bigger interest to judo in the city among younger generation. In Borisov today there are suitable sports grounds for competitions of such level.
