In Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky passed all-comers competitions on judo. Participants of competitions became one and a half hundred young athletes from the Kamchatka, Khabarovsk edges, the Amur, Magadan and Sakhalin region.

Results of performance of island judoists were brought by the vice-president of SROO "Judo and Sambo Federation" Valentin Kardash:

- As a part of a national team pupils of sections of the Palace of children's and youthful creativity of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, and also sambo and judo DYuSSh acted. Our children, despite the rigid competition, managed to win three medals. At young men till 14 years in weight category to 42 kg the third place was taken by Alexey Verkhoglyadov. And, Alexey was for a year - two are more younger than the competitors. But good technical training helped it to break through in the prize-winning three.

Young men till 16 years in weight to 46 kg among participants had three residents of Sakhalin – Vladislav Lim, Denis Elisechev and Sergey Bak. Sergey Lomakin from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky won here. The second place was taken by Denis Elisechev, and the third – Sergey Bak.
