Eminent sportswomen Marina Slutskaya and Elizabeth Moiseenko acted with idea of carrying out competitions on judo on the basis of SSh No. 164 of Minsk where Marina and Lisa conduct section on judo for first graders. In the Minsk Spring tournament (such name competitions received) took part 89 boys and little girls aged from 6 till 14 years from Minsk, Grodno, Baranovichi, Borisov and Smorgoni.

The help in the organization of tournament was rendered by BRSM pervichka under the leadership of Evgenia Traskovskoy. "At registration we distributed to each participant a sticker with the image of a white elephant - a symbol of justice, force and the wisdom, become and a tournament symbol. This day on a visit to school students there arrived the bronze prize-winner of summer Olympic Games in London on rhythmic gymnastics Lyubov Tcherkashin, the champion of Europe and the world on Julius Steshenko sambo, the repeated champion and the prize-winner of various competitions on judo and sambo Leonid Svirid.

As a gift the audience saw demonstration performances of the most younger participants of a sports holiday, those who only does the first, but confident steps to the sports world. Daniel Pershin admitted to "Znamenka" that very much worried, after all he still the first grader and didn't address such large number of people. Prizes, medals and diplomas were played in 12 weight categories. In total this day gifts were received by 42 athletes. Besides organizers of tournament founded four special prizes. Alexandr Hasinevich – one of the smallest participants became the owner of the prize "For the Best Equipment", he is only seven years old. And Semenova Anastasia unusually wished herself happy birthday: as fought in two weight categories (among girls and boys), I won I and the II places, having won thus a prize "For the will to win! ".
