In Kuryka passed the judo championship of area among young men and the girls, collected more than 130 participants from the cities and Mangistau's regions, - the chief judge of competitions Manarbek Bisekenov reported to "Lada".
Athletes acted in 11 weight categories from 30 to 73 kilograms where within three days winners and prize-winners were defined. As Manarbek Bisekenov explained, these competitions are a selection stage on the championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan which will take place in June in Karaganda.
It is already known who will protect Mangistau's sports honor at this republican competition. These are two judoists from Aktau - Salamat Igarov who has won first place in the weight 30 kg and Hamit Rashidov, become the champion in the weight 73 kg. Also zhanaozensky athlete Zamanbek Rakhatov who has won a gold medal in weight plus 73 kg became the winner.
Eight athletes from Shetpe - Akikat Amanbayev, Kuanysh Nurbek, Amanbek Kolkayev, Ernur Koyanbay, Nurzhol Kanatbayev, Serikbolsyn Kanash, Bereket Maksumov and Abyl Zhanbiyev became champions.
Among girls two sportswomen from Shetpe Gulnur of Nurgalikyza and Amangul Kolkayev, three aktausky judoists Aruzhan Sabirova, Makhabat Tanakulova and Aygerim Kudaybergen became winners. The champion also became the sportswoman from Karakiya Dana Zhaygaliyeva and Malik Muratbekyza from Tupkaragan.
