In an age category of M5 (from 45 to 50 years) our master of sports of the USSR on judo and sambo, pupil Varazdata Grigoryantsa and Yury SIKOEV which is the world champion among veterans of 2009 and at the same time working as the controler at the Alania power supply network enterprise, acted excellent and became the only champion of Moscow from the North Ossetia veterans. Islam Bekuzarov, the director on whom Sikoyev works, is proud of the ward and always renders all help in the organization of trips on competitions and collecting.

Bronze prize-winners became Elbrus SLANOV (trainer Vyacheslav Dzaparov) and Soslan HAEV which in persistent fight lost for an exit in the ending to the strong rival from Moscow . The beginner of veteran movement Alexander KEShIShEV who managed "to be lit" in the championship of Russia last year showed bright and original wrestling, having earned the third place, and on tournament in St. Petersburg this year which brought a gold award.

"Five years ago to me Stanislav Kasoyev who was in due time the winner of a World Cup in Japan in 1991 came, and expressed desire to participate in the championship of Russia among master veterans on judo in 2007, – the deserved trainer of the republic Idantirs Ramonti remembers. – We started training when to the championship there were three months, but brought myself into such form that young judoists were surprised to our progress. Experience is experience: Kasoyev excellent won that championship of Russia in heavy weight and left as a part of Russian national team on the European championship where again I proved the superiority in heavy weight. Then in the status of the first number of national team it went on the World Cup. And here I won all forty-year-old judoists! Then we understood, as other our veterans can leave and achieve successes on the international tatami. The strongest veterans of the Ossetian judo started joining us – Victor Tebloyev, Murat Kisiyev, Arthur Taymazov (the father of perspective judoist Robert Taymazov), Yury Sikoyev and others. Thanks to support of our friend and the senior teacher in life and in Vladimir Koroyev's sports we united in combined PCO-A among veterans in a modern history of the Ossetian judo. It is a pity that our national team still has no sponsor and registration, but the main thing not that is written on paper, and that occurs in life. Real results which our veterans show from year to year – to that confirmation. I as the senior trainer of the national team of veterans understood that for children the example of adults and when they see is important how fifty-year-old bring gold medals from the World Cups, Europe and Russia, they have no other choice how to follow the senior companions.

Thank you, our dear veterans in love with judo, for your spiritual and human feat! You could sit idly now somewhere in a kjabitsa and sip beer, but chose more worthy way which will give strength of mind to our younger!"
