Relay of carrying out the championships of Europe at Budapest was accepted by the French Monpelye. One of the largest cities in the south of France that is located in 10 km from the poberezhyasredizemny sea, becomes the owner of the championship of Europe on judo in April, 2014.

The flag of the championship was transferred to the President of the French association of judo Jean-Luc Ruzhe in Budapest. "We want to thank the European union of judo for opportunity to hold this event, - told Ruzhe. - To check the opportunities, we organized the championship of France in November, 2012 in Monpelye, and it was the success. On tribunes there were more than seven thousand audience every day".

"We are very happy that the French federation becomes the organizer of future championship. France is one of the strongest federations of judo not only in Europe, but also in the world, and has a wide experience in the organization of large actions", - Sergey Soloveychik, the president of the European union of judo commented on the decision. - Level of the championship of Europe is very high now and will grow further. We would like to show everything that competitions on judo are not less attractive, than on soccer, hockey or other martial arts".

The championship will take place in the universal "Park & Suites Arena" which opened the doors in 2010 is filled in.
Venues of other large actions of the European judo in 2014 are also defined:
- Polish Vrotslav will accept youth Superiority of Europe till 23 years on November 14-16;
- the Romanian Bucharest will organize junior Superiority of the continent till 21 year on September 19-21;
- the Ukrainian Donetsk will be the capital of the veteran championship of Europe on June 5-8;
- in the Turkish Antalia will pass representative trainer's and judicial seminars of the European union of judo in May, 2014.

Who becomes the organizer of youthful Superiority of Europe (till 18 years) in 2014 will be defined soon.
