Five Azerbaijani judoists acquired the right to make a speech at the World Masters tournament where act only sixteen best athletes on a rating.

Thanks to successful performance on "Grand Slam" in Baku, Nidzhat Shikhalizada (66 kg), Rustam Orudzhev (73 kg), Shain Gekhramanov (90 kg), Elkhan Mamedov and Elmar Gasymov (100 kg) will be able will make a speech at not less prestigious competition which will take place on May 25-26 in Tyumen.

As transfers azerisport.com, the question of accumulation of a rating was quite actual for our athletes before "Grand Slam". After all prior to competition only E.Gasymov (100 kg) could count on performances in "World Masters", for a victory on which 700 points are given. But after completion of the Baku tournament it became obvious that the number of our judoists who will go to Tyumen, will be much more big. So it also happened, and now the five of the Azerbaijani judoists will prepare for start which is carried out all once a year. Except for the Olympic Games, it is the second for the status after the World Cup.

Thus, for the first time on such start Azerbaijan in one weight will be presented by two athletes. Speech about category to 100 kg, having passed in which Elkhan Mamedov felt quite at home. And now it conducts the competition to E.Gasymov for a position of the first number in a national team. It is remarkable that Elkhan is our only athlete who didn't pass any tournament "World Masters", and, earlier already won on it.

But if for Elkhan and Elmar it already is not the first start of this sort, to Shikhalizada, Orudzhev and Gekhramanov debut on "Masters" to which there was not enough time. In fact, it will be the last big start before the World Cup in Rio, and it is possible not to doubt that to Tyumen there will arrive best of the best. And the Azerbaijani judoists will be among them.

Well for now the team continues to train in former a mode, carrying out joint trainings with teams of Turkey, Canada, the USA and many other collectives which have remained on collecting after "Grand Slam".
