In the book "Judo of Zhitomir" author Boris Revnivtsev remembers sporting achievements of present officials

In the new book of the honored worker of physical culture and sport of Ukraine, the deserved trainer of Ukraine, the master of sports of the USSR of Boris Revnivtsev of "Judo of Zhitomir" is memories of sporting achievements of Zhitomir officials.

On May 15 Boris Revnivtsev told about it during presentation of the book.

"In the book there are memoirs about present the head of department of formation of the Zhitomir regional state administration Alexander Pastovensky, the former deputy and the present adviser of governor Igor Orlov, Borja Movchan - the major general of SBU and many others. These are all my pupils", - Boris Revnivtsev told.

According to the vice-chairman of Zhitomir regional council Mikhail Chigirya, among Revnivtsev's pupils - the deputy governor of Krasnoyarsk Krai of Russia Mikhail Shtonda, his pupils also many present businessmen.

In total for the 16-year period of work as the trainer Boris Revnivtsev prepared the whole cohort of successful athletes: world champions 1; prize-winners of the world among students - 1; champions of the USSR - 1; winners of the Cup of the USSR - 1; prize-winners of the Cup of the USSR - 1; prize-winners of the championships of the USSR in various age groups - 10; champions of Ukraine in different age groups - 31; prize-winners of the championships of Ukraine in different age groups - 36; masters of sports of the USSR - 18 people (14 - judo, 4 - sambo) masters of sports of the international class - 1 (sambo); pupils of the trainer won team championships of Ukraine three times and 4 times became prize-winners of team championships of Ukraine (in different age groups).

Mikhail Chigir and the director of the department of a family, youth and sports of the Zhitomir regional state administration Raisa Gula remembered how once, in youth, were engaged in volleyball.

Also Raisa Gula told about sports preferences of officials of department of a family, youth and sports. "My deputy Alexander Antonyuk who is going in for youth policy, too the volleyball player. My deputy Natalia Kalkan professionally goes in for rhythmic gymnastics, she is the master of sports, the head of sports division Victor Korzh - the master of sports on judo, is two departments in which the professional athletes who have graduated from the relevant institutes" work, - informed the Gula.

Subtitle to the book "Judo of Zhitomir" the author opens her essence - "History, memoirs, reflections..."

"Emergence of memoirs and reflections about the beginning of development of judo and sambo in Zhitomirshchina, as well as many other events of our life, perhaps, it was defined in advance... I hope that these memoirs and reflections also for someone become useful", - the author writes at the beginning of the book.

As Boris Revnivtsev told, in 2014 some significant dates in origin and sambo and judo development in area are executed at once: 50 years since the beginning of development of wrestling of sambo, 40 years since the beginning of development of judo, 30 years since the beginning of development of female judo, 25 years since the beginning of development of female sambo.

"This work - a certain contribution in celebration of the specified dates", - marked out Jealous men.

"Judo of Zhitomir" - not the only child of the author. About two tens years ago light were seen by Boris Revnivtsev's first book "A way to a pedestal".

On the first pages of the book "Judo of Zhitomir" the author gives efficient vital advice to the readers: "Don't avoid difficulties, you learn to overcome them. Always have high aim which won't allow you to get lost in life. Love that you do, and the success always will be with you!"
