The little from foreign guests of a traditional Russian stage of the Cup of Europe in Orenburg-2013 managed to break through to a pedestal in the first day of competitions. On the arena SKK "Orenburzhye" our athletes took priority in five of seven categories which medals were played on Saturday May 18. Owners of competitions left to themselves all three gold in the man's category and two – female, and also three silver and ten бронз. The representatives of Belarus who have taken the first places in categories 52 and 63 of kg could dilute Russian "hegemony" at pedestal tops only.

More than two hundred athletes this time took part in popular tournament in Orenburg from 18 countries. Overwhelming numerical advantage of Russians (nearly a half of participants of tournament) together with skill as a result provided to our national team medal success.

In the easiest weight from men all steps of a pedestal were occupied by Russians. The champion of tournament became Albert Oguzov who has changed in the ending Roman Gorshenin. Bronze medals won Eldar Gazimagomedov and Dmitry Kulikov. In category of 66 kg the victory was celebrated by our Arsene Tolasov who has got the best of team mate Akop Akopyan, and the third step of a pedestal was divided by Ukrainian Hachatryan and Russian Adranik Kurdyan. In the weight of 73 kg to a podium there ascended already two foreigners, but all the same leadership was kept by the representative of the Russian national team – Artem Rzhat overcame in the ending of the Belarusian to Shock. Our Felix Guljaev and Ukrainian Kanivets became bronze medallists.

In lightweight too all pedestal remained with girls for Russians. Victory in Orenburg праздновалаЕлена Tkachenko (48), left without gold Maria Persidskuyu. The third place divided Alan Lazarov and Nataya Sabanov. In category 52 kg our girls reached only bronze: Anastasia Kovalenko and Paulina Molchanov passed forward the Belarusian Skrypnik and the representative of the next neighbor – Kazakhstan, Kutsenko who has taken respectively the first and second places. The sportswoman of the national team of Rossiianastasy Polikarpov (57) won a title 57 kg strongest in category, having got the best of the only representative of Great Britain on tournament in Orenburg Inglis. Bronze awards were received by Petersburger Ilona Buryachenko and the sportswoman from Switzerland Chopp. The second gold for team of Belarus in Orenburg was won by the Evgenia Zaytsev who has overcome in the ending the sportswoman from Kyrgyzstan to Momunova. Ours rose by the third step of a pedestal of Pari Surakatov and the judoist from Kakhastan Urdabayev.

Following the results of the first day inaccessible leaders of medal offset are owners of a tatami, Russians (5-3-10). On the second place team of Belarus (2-1-0) and on the third – exposed the team second for number after Russia - the national team of Kazakhstan (0-1-1).

Medals of their remained seven sets will be played in Orenburg on Sunday.
