Young judoists from Volgograd became champions of the Liberty Bell Judo Classic tournament in the USA

Four young judoists from the Volgograd region won "gold" in the international championship on judo of "Liberty Bell Judo Classic" which took place in the USA in the city of Philadelphia. Among them Vladimir Krykov, Yury Kotelnikov (two gold), Dmitry Barsky, Ivan Chekunov. The trainer of the Volgograd team, the president of regional association of sambo and judo reported about this news agency "Height 102" among veterans Alexander Evlanov. Besides inhabitants of Volgograd Nikolay Fetisov, Nursultan Ahmetov, Nikolay Medvedenko, Hasan Musluyev became bronze prize-winners of the championship. In total 25 young athletes took off for Philadelphia from Volgograd. "Our team acted adequately for all 100%. – the coach of the team - Certainly speaks, there are children who remained without medals, but next time, think, they will take a revenge". Let's note that within the Liberty Bell Judo Classic championship passed fights and veterans of sports on age to categories of 30-39 years, 40-50 years, 50-60 and is more senior. And here the Volgograd judoists won medals. In the categories the vice-president of federation of judo of the city of Volgograd Vladimir Lizenko and the president of regional association of sambo and judo Alexander Evlanov became champions. One more our fellow countryman Victor Pareyko took the second place in heavy weight among 30-40-year-old athletes
