In Shymkent winners of the international tournament were determined by judo "Shymkent open cup" .

This year for medals of competitions fought 16 man's and 7 women's teams from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. The close attention of trainers was riveted on athletes of the youth national team of Kazakhstan. This year participation in the World Cup is necessary to them. As showed competitions, our strongest judoists Samat Esen and Kayrat Akabayev have every chance to rise by a podium. On tournament in Shymkent they didn't lose any fight. In competitions "a wall on a wall" the first place among men was taken by judoists of the national team of Kazakhstan, among women wasn't equal to team of the Southern Kazakhstan area. Our guests from Tajikistan and Uzbekistan remained this time without awards.
