It in conversation with the correspondent of NEWS.am Sport was declared by the head coach of the national team of Armenia on judo Tigran Babayan.

According to Tigran Babayan, on University games members of the national team on judo will appear also in wrestling on belts and sambo.

"In University games four judoists – Grigor Ivanyan (60 kg), the bronze prize-winner of junior Olympic Games will take part in Singapore David Kazaryan (66 kg), Andranik Chaparyan (74 kg) and Akop Arakelyan (100 kg). Chaparyan will appear in competitions wrestling on belts, and Akop Arakelyan – in sambo competitions.

As the head coach of the national team I attach great value to University games, however these competitions can't be compared to the World Cups and Europe.

I have waitings only from one of our judoists. From whom exactly I won't tell. Remaining will be content with involvement

We won't carry out collections to University games as we have no opportunity to carry out collections before each tournament. We will carry out some collections to the World Cup which will take place from August 26th to September 11th in Rio de Janeiro", - Tigran Babayan marked.

In Kazan judoists will enter wrestling from July 7th to July 11th.
