Romi was born in 1987 in Frankfurt an der Oder. In 2008 Tarangul won a silver medal in the judo European championship. This result gave the chance to it to participate in Olympic Games in Beijing where it took the ninth place, reports Piter TV.

In 2009 in the judo World Cup she won a bronze medal that became the highest achievement in her career.

This year Romi acted on University games in Kazan where won a bronze medal.
