The Olympic champion of Athens-2004 in judo Belarusian Igor Makarov won't perform at house tournament of a series the Continental cup which will pass in the Minsk Sports palace 12 and 13 of October.

The athlete is close to finishing active sports career. About it today, answering a question of the correspondent of BELTA, at a press conference the head coach of a national team of Belarus Mahomed Ramazanov told.

"Olympic champion Igor Makarov puts powers of the acting athlete, but will continue to impart experience and knowledge with young athletes. It we will try to involve with them in the near future. But Makarov and so didn't make a speech at tournament in Minsk because of problems with health. There will be no Evgenia Bedulina also in weight to 100 kg. It finished career because of an injury of a humeral joint, without having managed to be rehabilitated after operation for return to big-time sports", - Mahomed Ramazanov told.

The public on the Minsk tournament and the Belarusian athlete strongest for today in weight to 73 kg of Alexey Romanchik who is restored after a trauma won't see. "Experts and fans from team wait for positive result. It is necessary to continue traditions which were put in Olympic Sydney and Athens. There is a wish to repeat in the future or even to increase those results which then were shown. The next competitions in Sports palace will be also job evaluation for group of the experts being in head of the Belarusian judo already ten months. Personally I as the head coach of the national team hope to see good performances not only the first numbers of team, but also any surprises from youth", - the head coach of the national team of Belarus emphasized.

Mahomed Ramazanov considers that number of applicants for awards among his wards treat Dmitry Shershan (weight category to 66 kg), Andrey Kazusenok (90 kg), Alexander Vakhovyak (over 100 kg) among men, and also Darya Skrypnik (52 kg) and Marina Slutskaya (over 78 kg) at women.

In the 2012th similar traditional tournament on judo took place in Minsk within the World Cup. A year ago in medal offset the Belarusian judoists with two gold, two silver and three bronze awards took the second place among 13 national teams, having conceded only to team of Great Britain.
