On team tournament "ECCO Judo Team Challenge: Europe vs Asia" gathered a large number of eminent athletes from all over the world. One of the most outstanding figures in the national team of Europe is the silver prize-winner of the Olympic Games in London, the repeated world champion and the Old World Alexander Mikhaylin.

The 34-year-old wrestler of absolute weight category becomes the most skilled participant of tournament. On the eve of competitions it has a talk with the correspondent of ASN "Tyumen Arena".

- Arrival to Tyumen became for me surprise. That I will represent Europe, I learned after New year. Therefore purposefully it couldn't be prepared, - Alexander noted.

- You plan to take part in the Olympic Games of 2016?

- I will fight in the Olympic cycle, but for a start it is necessary to make a speech at the World Cup.

- Forces to fight still is?

- Naturally!

- On Saturday you will oppose Yury Krakovetsky from Kyrgyzstan. It seems not the most difficult opponent in your career …
