The national team of Europe won a sure victory (10:4) over team of Asia, within the team tournament "ECCO Judo Team Challenge" which took place in Tyumen. The head coach of Russian national team Ezio Gamba was the manager of victors. After the end of competitions the Italian expert has a talk with correspondents.

- I want to thank my colleagues, trainers Maarten Ahrens and Michel Almeyda. We together prepared the national team of Europe for this tournament, - the manager noted.

- Signor Gamba how for such short period you managed to rally the European judoists in uniform collective?

- We did large volume of work to receive victorious result.

- Whom from your European wards you can allocate?

- To Tyumen arrived not only leaders of a world rating, but also other strong judoists. Georgy Zantaraya perfectly proved. Alesya Kuznetsova gave me a surprise, having overcome the world champion. Victorious team tournament – the fine beginning of a new season.

We will remind that as a part of the European team the victory was won also by Alexander Mikhaylin (absolute weight category).
