Over 250 athletes from 30 countries took part in the continental Cup of Africa which has passed on January 25-26 in Casablanca first in a new season. The prize-winner of the Russian youth Superiority Dmitry YARTSEV (73) and with beautiful throws passed the first rival in good speed – Turk Gulduren, ippony won the second meeting against the representative of Tunisia Ben Hassena, and in a quarterfinal passed attack from the prize-winner of the adult European championship Belgian Botyyo and left wrestling for gold. In group of a consolation Dmitry ippons won against both rivals – Italian Karollo and Frenchman Riu and became the third prize-winner of tournament.

The winner of the European youth Superiority Mahomed MAGOMEDOV (90) too "stumbled" in a quarterfinal. After a beautiful victory in starting fight over Turk Basol, in the second meeting the Russian passed three attacks of Frenchman Klerget. In dispute of applicants for bronze Mahomed purely won against New Zealander Dill-Russell, and in the small final won an early victory over Turk Efemgil.

Two meetings in Morocco were won by Ilona BURYACHENKO (52). With advantage the vase-ari finished the first fight with the hostess of a tatami Sukat, and according to remarks won the second – with the Frenchwoman of GRU. The semi-final with one more representative of the country of fashions of Erani came to the end ippony of the Frenchwoman. In a duel for Ilona's bronze with the Belgian Vermander of remark steel – at the Russian one was solving "shido", and at her competitor – two. Buryachenko has too Moroccan bronze.

The fifth bronze in a moneybox of the national team was brought the medallist of the European Superiority by Alyona PROKOPENKO (70). Having begun day with a victory over Belgian Taymans, Alain in the second circle, semifinal, unexpectedly passed attack of Moroccan Niang and left the main grid. In a bronze meeting the Russian was stronger than the representative of Canada of Renault Roy and took the third place on the African tournament.

In the first days off of February world judo will return to Europe. The continental cup will take place on February 1 and 2 in the Bulgarian capital – Sofia.
