On Wednesday the Dagestan wrestlers will take off for Minsk for participation in the Grand Pri "Alexander Medved".

The team is accompanied by the senior trainers of the national team of Dagestan Gaidar Gaydarov and Arsene Gitinov. 11 wrestlers entered into it: Shamil Salikhov (55 kg), Abakar Abasgadzhiyev, Rustam Abdurashidov (they are 66 kg), Gadzhi Abdulayev (66 kg), Amir Berukov, Shamil Osmanov, Habib Batyrov (all – 74 kg), Habib Abdullaev, Dauren Kurugliyev (they are 84 kg), Magomedkamil Guseynov (96 kg) and Gadzhimurad Murtuzaliyev (120 kg).

Last year in Minsk the Dagestan wrestlers with one gold, three silver and one bronze medals took the second place in informal general offset.

Present tournament on Alexander Medvedya's prizes will take place for the 43rd time. For the first time it took place in far 1970, in 1994 to it the solution of FILA appropriated category of the Grand Prix.

Tournament starts on March 1, this day dispute for awards wrestlersrs of categories to 55, 60, 66 and 74 kg will move. On March 2 medals in the remained three scales – to 84, 96 and 120 kg will be played.
