For the first time wrestlers of the freestyle which competitions took place on March 2 in Yelgava took part in the 50th Games of veterans of Latvia

In team of Daugavpils wresstlers with a victory Vladimir Golubev (97 kg), Vladimir Shilovsky (85 kg) and Valery Troshichev (76 kg) came back home. Three more wrestlers won silver medals: Alexander Kumpin (76kg), Sergey Telezhnikov (69 kg) and Sergey Zimarev (85 kg).
