Legendary wrestler and the trainer, one of founders of the Chechen school on free-style wrestling D. Bagayeva is handed the highest award of Parliament of ChR – the award "For Parliamentarism Development in ChR".

Within the VI republican traditional tournament of Legislative Assembly of ChR on free-style wrestling in honor of Head of ChR, the Hero of Russia Ramzan Kadyrov who passed the other day in Grozny, the Chairman of Parliament of ChR of Dukuvakh Abdurakhmanov awarded with the highest award of Legislative Assembly of ChR – the award "For Parliamentarism Development in ChR" – Degi Bagayeva, the world famous wrestler of freestyle, the legendary trainer who has brought up tens champions of Russia, the USSR, Europe and the World, one of founders of the Chechen school on free-style wrestling, the press service of Parliament of the Chechen Republic reports.
- D. Bagayev is "a live legend", the person who became a sports embodiment. This is the patriot, whose many-sided talent already many tens years works for the benefit of our people, - Abdurakhmanov added.
The award "For Parliamentarism Development in ChR" is handed over to D. Bagayev for a big contribution to business of formation of democratic institutes in the Chechen Republic and a major role in development of the Russian sports.

Tags Imranovich Bagayev was born on May 27, 1942 in the settlement Harsena of the Checheno-Ingush ASSR. In 15 years started being engaged in free-style wrestling. Peter Matushak was his first trainer. In 1958 after return from Stalin deportation he continued to train under the leadership of Supyan Zubayrayev.
D. Bagayev became the prize-winner of superiority of RSFSR among young men. In 1960 I became the champion of TsS DSO "Crop". The same year I became the master of sports of the USSR. I graduated from the Higher school of trainers at Institute of physical culture in Moscow. In 1962 I became the member of a national team of the USSR.
In 1976 Aslanbek Bisultanov won the USSR championship in Odessa and the European championship in Istanbul. In 1977 in Lausanne (Switzerland) A.Bisultanov became world champion – the first Chechen who has won this title. For these achievements the rank "The deserved trainer of the USSR" was appropriated to D. Bagayev. On the Sports contest of the people of the USSR in 1979 D. Bagayev's pets won 8 medals, from them 4 – gold. H.Ortsuyev and S. Hasimikov won on two gold medals, A.Bisultanov received silver, and bronze prize-winners became Ruslan Badalov and Alaudin Utsiyev. Champions of Europe became Taram Magomadov and Zaur Umayev.
It trained more than 150 masters of sports of Russia and the USSR, among which more than 20 masters of sports of the international class, from them 5 deserved masters of sports. Such results in the USSR and Russia weren't reached by any other trainer.
In 2003-2004 D. Bagayev was the adviser of the President of ChR of Akhmat-Hagi Kadyrov.
D. Bagayev is awarded by the medal "For Merits before the Chechen Republic", Certificates of honor of the President, Parliament and ChR Government, has a rank "The honourable citizen of the Chechen Republic".
D. Bagayev is awarded the order the Labour Red Banner. In 2012 for outstanding merits in development of world sports the medal FILA with rank assignment "The deserved trainer of the world" is handed over to it.
