Six gold medals and 24 permits on the championship of Russia were won by Dagestanis in Pyatigorsk.

Today in categories to 74, 84, 96 and 120 kg the zone North Caucasus federal district championship came to the end with duels of wrestlers. As well as the day before, the second day passed with overwhelming advantage of the Dagestan wrestlers. Only in weight to 96 kg they missed "gold", and in three other categories achieved victories. Again perfectly hasavyurtovets proved. Two from them managed to rise by the highest step of a pedestal.

Among heavyweights the pupil of sport school of Sh. Umakhanov Arslanbek Aliyev took priority. The wrestler with character, it and showed this time remarkable combativity, surely coping with rivals who often surpassed it in weight. Its final fight with Shamil Shavayev from Kabardino-Balkaria in which he, having conceded "from a foot" the first period was indicative, then managed to break a course of a meeting and won the deserved victory.

In weight to 84 kg Dynamo member Dauren Kurugliyev who in the ending won against fellow countryman Zalimkhan Parangayev two periods got "gold". Both finalists having behind shoulders of a victory on large international tournaments, initially were considered as favourites, and only it wasn't clear who from them is stronger at present.

Native of Makhachkala Hanapi Yusupov put from himself a title of the champion of North Caucasus federal district in weight to 96 kg which won last year in Nalchik, and was content this time with the third place.  It conceded to Vadim Alborov from Alania, only not to the Dagestani celebrating a victory.  One more native of Makhachkala — Magomedkamil Guseynov who, according to experts, too could apply for "gold" became the third prize-winner in this weight.
