In Repyevka for the first time passed regional tournament on free-style wrestling

The open regional command cup on free-style wrestling passed in Repyevka. To support young fighters and to estimate their potential, to Repyevka there arrived the chairman of regional federation of the free-style and Greco-Roman wrestling Andrey Zenin and the senior trainer of a national team of the Voronezh region, the master of sports of the USSR Gennady Holodkov.

Athletes represented four sports schools. Despite the early age, many participants of competitions already achieved serious successes in the sports career. Among them there were winners and prize-winners of competitions at Central federal district. Following the results of competitions the first and the second all-command places were taken by pupils of the Voronezh schools of the Olympic reserve No. 10 and No. 33. For repyevsky boys the third all-command place which they divided with contemporaries from Ertil, too can be considered as big success, considering level of preparation of rivals.

The section of free-style wrestling works in DYuSSh of the village of Repyevk less than a year. During this time young athletes managed to take part in several competitions of regional level and outside area.
