But it isn't less, than on a wrestling mat, the Habibi became famous as the actor, having acted in a leading role of the feature film "Mazandaransky Tiger" which with success went on screens of many countries of the world, including the Soviet Union.
The 82-year-old veteran willingly accepted the invitation of organizers of tournament, without having been afraid a long journey. For the guest of honor from the far-away country in Yakutsk organized excursions, to it showed sports objects, led in museum of local lore.
Glorified pekhlevan, living long time in America and much done a bit of traveling on the world, vividly was interested in history of Yakutia, present life of local population. By recognition of the guest, he enjoyed this trip and was gathered many impressions.
As keepsake of stay in the northern region of the Habibi gave souvenirs and books, and the minister of sports of the Republic of Sakha Mikhail Guljaev (on a photo — at the left) handed over it an unusual award — a breastplate devoted to the 380 anniversary of occurrence of Yakutia in structure of the Russian state. But especially the veteran was touched by a gift of the local fan of wrestling Ivan Barashkov which presented it a flash card with records of his fights in the World Cup-1961 in Yokohama and on the Olympic Games-1960 in Rome where it took the fourth place.
Thanking for the signs of attention shown to it, the Habibi told that all gifts received in Yakutia will take a worthy place in the museum devoted to it which is open for visit of all wishing on its homeland — in Mazandaran's province.
