Today, on January 24 in Krasnoyarsk started the XXV international tournament on free-style and female wrestling of a name of the double Olympic champion Ivan Yarygin. WRESTRUS.RU represents the main intrigues and other features of anniversary tournament.

Status

The golden Grand Prix "Ivan Yarygin" becomes the first tournament on free-style and female wrestling in a calendar of FILA which will pass in new weight categories.  We will remind that at the end of December of FILA approved six Olympic weights for free-style wrestling – to 57, 65, 74, 86, 97 and 125 kg;  and in the female – to 48, 53, 58, 63, 69 and 75 kg.  For other competitions which are carrying out under the auspices of FILA, it is added on two weights:  in the manumission – to 61 and 70 kg;  in the female – to 55 and 60 kg.  We will note that new weight categories for Greco-Roman wrestling were tested in last days off on the Grand Prix "Ivan Poddubny" in Tyumen.

Plots

One of the most expected fights of anniversary tournament of a name of Ivan Yarygin is the possible duel in weight to 61 kg between the Olympic champion Jahmal Otarsultanov and the world champion-2013 Bekhan Goygereev.  In the final of weight category to 57 kg the double world champion Victor Lebedev and the prize-winner of the World Cup-2013 Nariman Israpilov can meet.  In category to 98 kg to the champion of Europe-2012 Abdusalam Gadisov the prize-winner of the Olympic Games-2012 Valery Andreytsev will throw down a challenge.  Besides the Olympic champion Natalya Vorobyyova debuts in Krasnoyarsk in weight category to 69 kg.
