From March 25 to March 26 in Moscow in USZ "Friendship" of the Olympic Luzhniki complex passes an anniversary, 35th Supercup of the world on sambo "A.A. Harlampiyev's Memorial" where the Russian athletes show the good results.

In the first day of competitions the ward of Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization LIDER, the double owner of the World Cup to Gayana Arutyunyan won a silver medal in weight category to 48 kg, having conceded in the final to the compatriot, the Muscovite Shogik Tsaturyan. Our athletes pleased us with "the Russian final" and in weight category to 62 kg where Ruslan Bagdasaryan won a victory over the compatriot Alexander Slivin, other Russian Roman Kozlov got the third place. The pedestal was occupied only by representatives of the Russian national team and in weight category to 90кг where gold was won by the young and perspective athlete of the Armenian origin Arsen Handzhyan, Victor Osipenko got silver, and bronze medals were won by Ivan Orlov and Alexander Gorbal.

Tournament takes place in Moscow by 35 times. It takes a special place in a calendar of the international competitions in sambo because this action is connected with a name of one of founders of sambo – Anatoly Harlampiyev.

More than 300 athletes take part in tournament from 32 countries of the world - Austria, Azerbaijan, Algeria, Armenia, Belarus, Germany, Greece, Georgia, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Cameroon, Cyprus, Kyrgyzstan, Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Morocco, Mongolia, Poland, Russia, Romania, the USA, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Finland, France, Switzerland, Japan and Venezuela.
According to the International federation of sambo, the prize fund, as well as year before, will make 100 thousand US dollars.

We will remind that following the results of a world Supercup of "A.A. Harlampiyev's Memorial" 2013 Russian national team won 15 gold, 7 silver both 24 bronze medals and the first place in a team competition among men, women and on fighting sambo.
